This is road work run backwards. Where an opening ritual clears a way forward, these shut one: a path closed, momentum no longer renewing itself, an opening closing before it is reached.

That is the whole scope, and the narrowness is deliberate. These act on a route. They do not act on anybody's income, employment, standing or wellbeing, and nothing is taken from anyone.

The lightest option is a delay rather than a closure — not refused, postponed — and it expires on its own, which is often all that was wanted.

People arrive here after watching somebody advance on something that was not theirs, usually with no way to say so that anyone would act on.

Everything is symbolic. What you are buying is a symbolic path closing, and no effect on any real person's life is claimed anywhere in this group.

If the honest want is distance rather than obstruction, the banishing rituals are the better tool and they will serve you more directly than anything here.
