Blessings
A moment of warmth and good intention for a day, a person, a beginning.
Blessing for Today
One short blessing, received now and carried through the day.
Love Blessing
A moment of warmth for the love you have, or the love you are making room for.
Prosperity Blessing
Turn toward what you are working for, and say that you want it.
New Beginning Blessing
Give a first day, a move or a decision a moment of its own.
A blessing is a short spoken good. In its oldest form it is one line, said over someone as they leave the house: not a request filed anywhere, just words said out loud with intent behind them.
You can receive a blessing here, or send one to another person. Receiving takes a few seconds — the blessing is spoken over a day, a beginning, a relationship or a home, and it stays yours to return to. Sending works the same way, except you perform it and it reaches them as a link. They see the blessing and the fact that you stopped to make it, which is most of the point.
People reach for these at thresholds. A first day. A move. A month turning over. Someone going through a thing you cannot fix, where sending something beats sending nothing.
Nothing here is submitted to anyone or granted by anyone. A blessing is not a petition and there is no mechanism behind it beyond the one you bring. What it does is mark the moment deliberately, in a week that would otherwise swallow it.
