Chakras & Energy
Work with the energy centres and how your energy moves.
The seven-centre model comes from tantric texts codified in the sixteenth century and carried into English by Arthur Avalon in 1918. Each chakra is an energy centre with its own seat, element and seed sound: Muladhara at the base, earth, LAM; Anahata at the heart, air, YAM; Sahasrara at the crown.
Most people arrive already knowing which one they want. Something is stuck in the throat and will not be said, or the heart has closed after a year that earned it. If you do not know, there are rituals that point you toward one rather than asking you to be sure first.
You can work a single centre or travel all seven from root to crown. The short rituals clear one place, light it and let it settle. The long alignment pauses at each of the seven and takes about as long as a song.
This is symbolic practice. No ritual here inspects you, and none reports back that a centre is open, shut or damaged — that would be a claim, and we do not make it. What you get is a structure for putting your attention somewhere specific for a minute, which is what the tradition was always for.
