Intentions & Manifestation

Name what you want to invite in, and mark the moment you chose it.

An intention that stays in your head is a thought. One you write down and commit to is a different object, and the whole of this practice is the difference between them.

You name what you are making room for, in your own words, and the ritual holds it, lights it and releases it. The words stay saved with your completed ritual, so you can come back and see what you actually said rather than what you remember saying.

The lunar rituals use the oldest timing there is: set something in motion at the dark of the moon, let something go while it is full. Gratitude sits here too, and it is the least mysterious thing in the catalog.

What none of these do is arrange an outcome. Nothing is sent anywhere on your behalf and nothing arrives as a result — the ritual is the naming and the marking, and everything after it is still work you do.

That is a smaller promise than this category usually makes, and it is the only one worth making.
