Numerology

Numbers as a language for patterns, timing and repetition.

Numbers have carried meaning since Pythagoras built a system around them, and the idea runs through Kabbalistic gematria and Chinese practice long before anything on this site. The modern repeating-number layer is much newer, popularised in the 2000s.

Your life path number comes from the date you were born and is where most readers start. The destiny number comes from a full name at birth, the soul number from its vowels. Together they are read as the road, the work on it, and the motive underneath.

The other half is the number you keep catching. The same three digits on a receipt, a clock, a door. Repetition is what gets read as the signal, and each sequence has a meaning the tradition has settled on.

There is no calculation here about what will happen to you. A number is traditionally read a certain way, that reading is what you receive, and what you do with it is the part that matters. Nothing is verified and nothing is foretold.

The system repeats at every scale, which is why a personal day sits inside a personal month inside a nine-year cycle.
